Non-allelic interaction of some quantitative traits in chickpea
نویسندگان
چکیده
In the present study five generations viz. P1, P2, F1, F2 and F3 of chickpea were taken for analysis non-allelic interaction considering yield contributing characters like as date first flower (DFF), number primary branches at (NPBFF), plant height (PHFF), pods per (NPd/P) seeds (NS/P). At Mather’s scaling test was done where scales C D found to be significant non-significant all traits, respectively. Potence characters, which revealed that there no dominance. Cavalli’s joint test, χ2 values confirm additive-dominance model inadequate except additive dominance effects are other interaction, linkage, genotype × environment (G×E) etc. involved either individually or in combination inheritance studied traits.

Development of a composite collection for mining germplasm possessing allelic variation for beneficial traits in chickpea
Chickpea is one of the most important grain legume crops in the world. Large collections of genetic resources are maintained in the International Crops Research Institute for the SemiArid Tropics (ICRISAT) and International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) genebanks. Association mapping using neutral markers has been suggested as a means to identify useful alleles in t...

Assessment of Genetic Variation and Mode of Inheritance of Some Quantitative Traits in Chickpea (cicer Arietinum L.)
The present study was conducted to explore the magnitude of genetic variation and mode of inheritance for some quantitative traits among the sixteen genotypes of chickpea at Arid Zone Research Institute, Bhakkar, during the Rabi crop season 2012-13. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The data regarding eight important quantitative tra...

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a complex, chronic inflammatory disease implicated to have several plausible candidate loci; however, these may not account for all the genetic variations underlying RA. Common disorders are hypothesized to be highly complex with interaction among genes and other risk factors playing a major role in the disease process. This complexity is further magnified because s...
